I had a neighbor once who would do the 3am loud music thing. She was also dancing and banging on the floor which drop the lady dowstairs nuts.

She finally moved and everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Until the new neighbors moved into her apartment. The new neighbors once had GROUP sex at 1:00 on a Sunday afternoon (windows open of course) with all the kids of the apartment building in the courtyard playing. (Mommy what’s that noise?) The police came numerous times for fights and they appeared to be selling drugs. They got EVICTED because the whole building complained until they were kicked out.

Sometimes when you get what you wish for the alternative is worse.

I had a noisy neighbor one time. A hard-of-hearing middle aged widow who lived alone in the apartment below us. She’d play the TV late into the night with the volume up certainly loud enough to irritate me when I was trying to sleep. Trouble was that I just couldn’t bring myself to complain to the dear woman.

I know that feeling, my downstairs neighbour insists on playing “Stairway to Heaven” or some other such delight on his electric guitar at midnight. My floors vibrate and I want to smash the damn thing over his head….

Noisy neighbours, don’t you just hate them. I’m glad we live in a quiet street, mind you if our neighbours started like that, I’d just rev the car (with the sporty engine) up in the wee hours every morning for a week
