For me, the mispelling began at an early age: my kindergarten diploma had my name spelled wrong — I may or may not have cried…

I don’t know how many times I’ve had to tell people it is ‘Lukas’ with a K! Not a C!

Perhaps you should shorten your name to Vick, and avoid the confusion

People get my name wrongly spelt too. And I hate telling them that its Gena with an e, not Gina with an i!

Maybe you should write:

Dear Cathey/Cathie/Catthie/?,

How do you spell your name again?

I can relate -.- Though it’s not just 1 person misspelling my name… I have it mispelled on everything from my library card to other membership cards. It was even wrong on my school records sometimes T.T
