Stolen from Dee (who gave me an ego boost of the week what with this multiple-all-nighter induced zit on my face); but comment and I will:
- Tell you why I
friended youadded you on my blogroll, regularly comment on your blog, etc. - Associate you with something; fandom, a song, a colour, a photo, a word, etc.
- Tell you something I like about you.
- Tell you a memory I have of you.
- Ask something I’ve always wanted to know about you.
Tell you my favourite user pic of yours.
In return, you must post this in your LJ/DW/blog/whatever.
Also, in 1945, a young girl named Katu Lata Kulu came over to America in a grey boat from Africa. A mysterious man killed her by cutting the word “LATUALATUKA” into her back. Now that you have read this message, she will come to your house on a full moon and steal your soul unless you follow these directions:
- Retype this message as a comment for 3 other videos.

I don’t actually remember how or when I discovered your blog; I’ve been reading it for as long as I could remember? I like it because it’s personal but not boring at all — a balance many personal bloggers fail to achieve, in my opinion.
“Aigoo chamna”! I wonder if there’s anywhere I could listen to the proper pronunciation and accent of the phrase.
I like you for being “you”, especially as an inherently good person, which is so, so rare on Earth. Or are you?! *suspicious glare*
I remember chatting with you on Facebook. Because you’re Asian, residing in South Korea and have a Caucasian dad, I automatically assumed that: English is not your first language; you’re a South Korean; you’re of mixed race. It really confused me when you told me you’re none of the above, and for a while I thought I mixed you up with Tara of Aigoo Chamna. But wait, you were Tara of Aigoo Chamna. So yeah, my brain exploded that day. (I was going to sue but my imaginary lawyer advised against it.)
I know you play the saxophone. What other instrument(s), if any, do you wish you’d also played or played instead?

On #1, Aw, thanks! I like your blog for the same reasons.
On #2, I need to figure out how to record myself again. That means, I need to invest in a mic-headset! I’ll try to do that one day or borrow someone’s so I can record that phrase for you and the others who are curious
On #3, I like to think I’m a nice person, but I know I have my biatchy side, haha.
On #4, Um. SORRY!
Didn’t mean to confuse you so horribly!
On #5, I play the piano, and can blast about 4 notes on the trumpet and the baritone, play the xylophone/vibraphone horribly, beat the bass drum like an idiot, and play the beginning of Deep Purple’s “Smoke on Water” on the guitar.
I wish I had learned how to play the cello or the French horn, but I’m satisfied with what I already know.

Hmmm … I lost my soul a long time ago when I went into management. If Katu comes, please ask her to bring a corona with a bucket of ice.

“…I also have an inconvenient anxiety of making phone calls…”
Holy crap, me too! I’m glad I’m not alone. I can’t make a phone call to anyone who isn’t my age or a real good friend of mine without getting all sweaty. I always think I’m gonna type in wrong numbers or somethin’ and get people pissed off.
I would say something about the blog but, really, what is there to say?

For me it’s usually calling people who are my age. I need a few days, sometimes weeks, to build up the courage before I could actually make the call. And when I do, my heart rate would go way up and I’d be all sweaty and flushed, too.
It’s not so much about pissing people off either; it’s more about embarrassing myself in front of them… Well, on the phone.

Hi Vickie! I’m back home from college and slowly working my way back into the Internet game. Trying to figure out a way to make taking care of my website babies a sustainable habit during the school year. (This is the summer I’m going to conquer Wordpress. Time to grow some fucking balls and make that pretty journo-type thing I’ve always wanted since I was a little girl…)
