Happy 22nd Birthday, Bro!

Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday, dear no-longer-little Little Brother Jacky!
Happy Birthday to youuuuu!

This is also probably Hong Kong’s most mis-sung song. And the lyrics are copyrighted? Outrageous! I’m so ignoring that.

Later, Vickie gets sued.

I never thought we’d manage, but my girlfriend and I finally bought a nice house. There isn’t a single piece of furniture at the place yet, but I can already see it. We’ll put the couch here, our piano there; shoe rack for all her pretty shoes, yes! Oooh, our floor also needs to be waxed. This is all so exciting! A new house, a new life waiting for just the two of us!

… And then the fucking alarm clock rang.

I haven’t posted in a while, hoping that life would be better the next day, hoping that I’d be able to write something less angsty as time went by… But life just has to worsen every day; I have family troubles…

I’m very close to yelling at Dad, to tell him how I really feel about what he wants of Bro and me, to tell him how much he’s hurt me for saying what he said today. Except I respect him, I still have love for him; I won’t do that. Ironic. The respect and love he said he never felt from us.

Sometimes I wish I could just fall asleep and never wake up…

P.S. Rest in peace, my poor little hamster. You’ve suffered enough.

Happy Birthday, Bro!

I originally wanted to write a long, heartfelt entry on how much he meant to me and the like, but I’m still feeling kind of sore as when I first showed him this layout for the domain, all he noticed was that I chopped half the dark elf’s head off. :S Just focus on the boobies, dammit. Heh.

But anyway, Happy 19th Birthday, my no-longer-little little brother (also known as “Bro” here at the blog), Jacky! :D

In unrelated news, I’ve been slacking so much — online, even — I could almost hear this.

The Boss: You'd better start work on my fansite now, or else!

But of course The Boss won’t actually say anything like that to me; she’s very nice. </freak show>

It Runs in the Blood

Mum opposed, opposed, and opposed to the idea of getting another family computer, ignoring / indifferent / oblivious to the fact that Dad really needed one. The story was, Bro has a nice computer, but he was almost constantly in the middle of something so it’s mostly unavailable when Dad wanted to use it. I have the laptop, decent enough and I’m always ready to share, but my “DO NOT USE INTERNET EXPLORER DAMMIT” (sans dammit in real conversation) probably really scared / annoyed him.

So, despite of Mum’s objection, Dad got the new computer.

But guess who can’t stop using that computer now? Mum… Now we’re finally bonding. :P

(What the hell? I kept typing “Ada” instead of Dad.)
